If she uses her H4 Visa stamp to enter , will have to file H4 to H1 Chane of status to be able to work on H1.

I do not think that you have any issues to work on W2 with an end client or with any other consulting company. Since you have completed six months period with your present employer, who supported to file GC , from the date filing I 485, there should not be any issues at all. Also filing AC21 is optional. If you are on bench your first option should be to find a project ASAP.
Why do you do not want to file AC21, do you have any apprhencion or any specific reason ?

There are basically three options in your wife's case: Do nothing, file MTR, or travel abroad to obtain visa. It is not possible to evaluate these options without knowing the basis for the denial. Knowing whether or not your wife has a pending AOS along with a valid AP is also essential for making any recommendation about how to proceed.

A while ago on one of the conference calls, if i remember correctly, it was mentioned that there wud be a team of ppl who would be aggressively calling up people and ask them to join.
First off am i correct? If i am correct, I was wondering if the same team could look at the contributions from the various members and call the "dormant" members up and ask them why they are apprehensive to contribute.

I have no idea about property taxes about VA. In urbana, the property tax is 0.00094 % of sale price. Urbana is about 36 miles from DC exactly. for a 300K house, the property tax is about 282$ PM.
How much is the property tax in VA? I was also thinking of fairfax county when I started my search but ended up in Urbana.

Do you think we can apply a duplicate 485 when the actual 485 packet is already sent. Even in this case how do you send the sealed medical reports since you have already sent them.

I came to USA on L1A through company A in February,2008 and working on L1 A till date.My I-94 is valid till feb,2011.
I filed H1B through company B in April,2007 in India and got approved petition in August,2007. That approved petiton is with my company B in USA.I have not gone for H1 B stamping.
Now I want to switch to H1 B in USA.I was told by my friends that,I can work on H1 B with my approved H1 petition.and I need not to go for H1B stamping.
I need to get visa stamped only if I goto India and to come back USA.
Can I work directly on my H1B petition with out stamping visa?
Incase, stamping is required, Shall I go to canada/Mexico for H1 B visa stamping.

It depends on the type of H-1 approval you have.

goel I know that, I have already done that twice in previous stampings at Canada. Each time I went a day before to the Scotia branch prior to my appointment. What concerns me is this statement.

The calculations have a huge margin or error there because it is based on 2 wrongs. USCIS data is not fully accurate and tracker data is small. 2 wrongs do not make a right. It is better to trust information directly from people talking to Department of State and USCIS. Lawyers know better as they do this everyday for many years.
I must correct the following facts for you.
- Last year FB to EB was 10K approx so this year the expectations are similar according to your attorney. All these numbers are distributed proportionately amongst all categories, refer demand data document.
- The confusion seems to in the administrative language, spillover means FB to EB.
I think you should read atleast a few pages or posts on the predictions calculations thread before being judgmental. The calculations have been done from all possible sources a) Inventory b) USCIS processing volumes and from large samples from other sites. If you have better sources with facts and figures please let us know. Somebody merely saying something will happen has no meaning. With regards accuracy said what is happening months back and many people believe that his predictions are accurate and very close to reality. Here is my situation.
(employer) -> (middle vendor ) -> prime vendor -> (End client ).
I am working to a client in california in the above mentioned order. After 1 year we got rid of middle vendor and prime vendor is working with my employer directly . Now middle vendor is threatning me that he can sue me for breaking the line of contract .
i dont understand ho can even its possible as i never signed any document with middle vendor and he is not even my employer . He is just acting as middle layer by showing prime vendor that i am his employee which is wrong. now we removed him from line of contract and he is saying that he will sue all of us for doing this.
is there any way that he can even do this ?

Hi All,

- Got a full time offer for my wife who is working on H1 and has EAD too.
- She decided to transfer her H1 instead of using EAD.
- My wife has sent all the necessary documentation to the lawyer.
- Mean while, we got I-485 approved. As per lawyer, upon 485 approved, H1b and EAD is no longer valid.
- We have not received I 485 approval notice through mail yet. We just have email from immigration
Our question is on what should be the valuable document that can be shown as eligibility proof to work as we have not received I-485 mail and cards yet.
Another question is: Can we visit local USCIS office for the temporary green card stamp based on the email got from immigration.
