Maybe, I've never gone to MacWorld even though I live in San Jose. Only hurdle for me would be taking a day off of work, although i've got plenty of vacation time. Not much of a drinker myself, and not too familiar with SF. Last time I went to meet-up with some people in SF, we ended up in a "massage" parlor. :eek::o:D

Im using an Intel 320 SSD in my MacBook Pro 15" 2010 and its amazing. The biggest difference is boot times and application startup times. I was annoyed when my MacBook Air with a C2D felt faster than my MacBook Pro with an i5, so i installed this new ssd and reinstalled the OS, now its the fastest computer i've ever used.
I chose Intel mainly because of the trustworthy brand and they seemed to be doing quite well with the X25 series. SSD's are certainly worth it, im never going to buy/build a computer without an SSD in future- its the best upgrade possible.

I logged into my account to verify an iTunes store purchase (why you have to confirm a purchase of a free app I will never understand) where I found someone else's account information. It's my Apple ID and email, but it is their name, address, phone, nickname, and credit card number. Has any ever seen this before? Has there been recent news about Apple's servers being compromised? Does this mean someone else is looking at my information? There's no way I will be reentering the correct information until Apple can convince me my account is secure.

It's quite easy. It helps to have a reputation, though. Main thing is just to assure people that you're making every effort to be totally honest, and be quick to answer people's questions.
To get the best price, make sure your auction ends at a prime time on a weekend, when a lot of people are home and in front of their computers.

I have a 2011 MBP 17" and I order the kit from MaxUpgrades.
The kit including optibay, enclosure for superdrive and a Vertex3 120GB and two day shipping was $370 IRC. They even managed to ship the same day I ordered. So it was definitely a plus. Considering you have a maybe pick a SATAII based SSD unless you plan to upgrade some time down the road so you could recycle the SATAIII SSD.
The only downside is that it doesn't come with any instruction. But then again, it's not very different to others. Just be careful and you shouldn't have any problem.
The optibay is very well made, feels solid when holding. I didn't have any fitting issue although some other users have reported some slight problems. I think it's because they are pretty tight fit, so don't tighten then screw all the way until you have all 3 on.
I ordered the Maxupgrades kit also. Seemed like a bargain compared to OWC's. I've been rally happy with the dealings I've had with them. I have no idea why there's a love affair with OWC. Opened or unopened, their 15% restocking fee is a sham.

Does anyone know "if" or when a refresh for Time Capsule 1T is coming out? It has been some time now, and I have read users have had issues with it.
Some users have had their hard drives go out, losing their data after about 1.5 years of use. :confused: It is in multiple feedback entries on Apple's Store site...
Any thoughts? I would like to purchase one, but I am reconsidering...would like some advise. Thanks

What does designating something a "title" do if you are also putting in size 5 green text?
I know how to customize my CSS within GoLive's graphical interface so that "title" means something by going into the CSS menus and then clicking on my CSSs "tags" on the sideline bar thingy. In other words, I create a standard title look without code. :o

Its good switching isn't it! I switched in March this year, and I would never look back. The iBooks are lovely, I'm hoping one day I get a job where I can have a laptop of my own- then I'd ask for an iBook! Its weird how it makes you look back on PCs in such a "why didn't I switch before?!" way. :)

Are you in college? Learning to write a quality iPhone app without any previous experience in programming or design might be equivalent to getting at least a "B" in 3 semester length classes, tough ones at that. The variation is large. A few people are whiz kids. Many flunk out.
Check out the Stanford course videos on iPhone development. But the prerequisite is already being a good programmer.
There are also point-and-click tools that will almost write an app for someone with determination at following instructions, but almost no programming knowledge. See buzztouch.com for one example. But the types of apps that can be created by such tools are quite limited.

1. Go to http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/. Then scroll down to iPhone / iPod touch / iPad / Apple TV and then click the arrow to scroll down and select your device and firmware. Then click download and save it to your desktop or downloads folder.
2. Go to http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/ and on the right you can download TinyUmbrella according to your operating system. Save this to desktop or downloads folder.
3. Go to http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/products/view/ireb.snow and download iREB RC4 according to your operating system and unzip the file to your desktop.

You mean iPad or iPhone? I don't have to change anything on the iPad, just the iPhone APN. Currently using iPhone 4 with 4.2.1.

I just installed the Intel 320 (120 GB) and I must say that I'm amazed.. No set-up besides the TRIMenabler patch
I'm going to install my brand new Intel 320 (120GB) tonight. Should I "zero out" before I install the MacOS? Should I enable TRIM support??
