Apple will announce Internet Radio capability on new iPod. With WiFi capability new iPods will able to tune into specially designated Internet Radio stations operated by Apple. And with one click listeners will able to purchase, via wireless download the song recently heard via the Apple Internet Radio channels. :o
This would be a nice feature and would fit with Apple's way of doing things.

Well pffft to IGN. I was at the store yesterday and :eek: there was a stack of Theme Park for DS. Sweet! So I got it for $29.99 cdn. Saved me from importing it. Almost dead on to the PSX version, a little more advanced than the Genesis one, but not quite as advanced as the PC version. The stylus control isn't perfect but it works better than a pad thats for sure.

MJ was correct, I was thinking the airport side of things. But it now looks like the PB side of things.
Agree with the others, get it to Apple to be fixed. That way you'll be sure the problem is corrected.

Oh, and after you get your PB fixed, you may still have problems connecting to your Airport. In that case delete the preference file first. If that doesn't work, then I would reset the Airport and then use the Airport Setup utility to set up the Airport. Just be sure that you have your ISP data handy before you do this.
Please let us know how it work out.

I too have been using Mactubes, and it works better than the in-browser flash player, but I can't seem to get quicktime to work.
"Can not open video. Please open URL with browser."
That's the error that I get when I switch to Quicktime. Any ideas?
You need to upgrade to version 3.0.4. Occasionally Youtube changes something in their urls, I think, and the program's author has to update (which he/she does promptly).

But, as long as your sister is pleased with the shots, awesome! You should see if you can post some up here when she gets them!
I'll be allowed to post. There were a ton of photo ops all over this place and the photog still didn't get to them all (even though he was working fast as were his assistants). It was a good time stalking them to see what shots they were getting. There were two shots I'd of loved to seen but I kept my mouth shut since its rude to harass the photog.

Well, I'll be using it for notetaking, the occasional graphic work and quite possibly some numbercrunching come next semester... We'll be doing statistics :eek:
Basically, you could say that what I need is an advanced typewriter, but then again, I imagine that once I get to know the machine, I'll be wanting it to do more stuff? Never had a portable before....

I was thinking the same thing and wanted a powerbook but in the end I didnt have enough cash so I went with a 12" ibook with some extra ram and it has impressed me. I can do graphics work with maya and bryce perfectly well and you will save some money so you can load it with ram and spend the rest of the cash on beer :D .
The ibook has quite a kick I dont think you need a powerbook unless you are going to use pro apps in depth but if you have the cash I wouldn't forget about the powerbook. The question you need to ask yourself is Will I be using the extra power and is the extra cash worth it?

Yes it is. My background is a light grey colour so it shows up on that. And the fact that I know it's there means my eyes are drawn to it.

If the position you were applying for was full-time that could be a HUGE factor. Because how many high-school students can work from 3pm - 12am and then be able to go back to work at 10am. If it was part time maybe they felt some other applicants had a stronger resume or they may have felt they want someone with more experience. You never truly no unless you ask a manager who interviewed you.

It was not an interview but a seminar (but I guess your right).... Does anyone know how to get my application seen by the store manager?? I talked to the store manager in the Garden State Plaza NJ and she said that the corporate office in CA took care of all the applications and she will never see the application until it gets screened through.
Does anyone know someone who knows someone?? =P

I jailbroke it because now I can add cydia apps that bypass some shortcomings of the native iPad (password protecting specific apps, mail enhancements, widgets, etc)
In my second post on this thread, I stated that I just reset the iPad and still have the same problem.
Just go to an Apple retail store, they'll fix it for you. Worst case scenario you'll get a replacement but since you jail broke the device, it may void the warranty without the exception of this issue. You don't seem to be clear enough of your problem.
Did you have this issue of the apps icon disappearing before you jail broke it? If you did, why didn't you go to Apple to look at it for you?
Or... Did this happen after jail breaking and the problem still persists even after factory reset?
